About Me

• Lifetime resident of Delaware County who lives in the home her father Tom Bruner built in the early 50's. Tom was Union Member at GE.

• Graduated from Arch. Prendergast HS in 1965.
• I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from West Chester University.

• Currently serves as a school teacher in the Philadelphia Public School District and is a PFT Union Member.

• Formerly employed by the Com. of Penn. where I learned the interaction between departments and  branches within government. I was an AFSCME member and shop steward.

• Past Chair of the Springfield/Morton Democratic Committee.

• Member of the Democratic State Committee for about 20 years.

• Secretary of Zonta Club of Philadelphia, an International organization that advances the status of women and children worldwide.

• Volunteer/Fundraiser for the Thorncroft Equestrian Center whose students are all ages both handicapped  and non-handicapped riders.

• Active in fundraising for Arch. Prendergast and Mons. Bonner tuition assistance.

• Enjoys earning Act 48 credits that teachers are required to accumulate through seminars at the University Pennsylvania, from the Teachers Institute.

• I am a Grandmother of two little girls who love Irish Dancing.
