Some Issues of Concern

• We need a County Health Department, if other counties can find the funding with budgets lower than Delaware County (2005), then the funds should be there.

• I do not want to count paper clips, but I do want to know what work is accomplished by employees and in which departments and at what salary.

• I want every citizen  to feel welcome in the courthouse and to have access to information about how our tax dollars are spent.

• I want to look at the Home Rule Charter and see if we could get minority representation again, instead of being the only one of the 67 counties that does not have minority representation.

• The County Council members are considered part-time, I intend to be full-time with a salary of $50,000, I think it should be a full-time position.

• I will try to serve all the people of Delaware County to the best of my abilities and to work towards open, responsive government.

• I am also asking the people I meet to bring me their concerns and issues for me to research and possibly bring to my campaign.
